About Radiant
Radiant was founded in 1998 by engineers with extensive practical asset-maintenance experience in heavy engineering.
The team came to realize that that “all machines are not equal”. Indeed, machines’ impact on plant functionality vary. In particular, consider the asymmetrical impact different machines’ breakdowns have on plant throughput and the cost of restoring them. This simple but profound realization led to the development of their revolutionary approach to asset management: Impact-Driven Asset Management® (IDAM).
Powerful, proven, and well-documented, IDAM results in rapid yet sustained improvement of plant performance. IDAM addresses a wide range of issues that not only focus on machine performance but also consider the wider operational requirements of the production process. Truly a comprehensive approach to asset management.
Radiant works closely with clients in the manufacturing and mining sectors, playing a key role in guiding the development and implementation of clients’ asset management policies and strategies.
Radiant takes a holistic approach to enable industrial production facilities to operate reliably over the long term. Focus is placed on opportunities for step changes, while fostering a culture of continuous plant and equipment improvement. Both the overall approach and its execution benefit from the team’s wealth of maintenance engineering, operational integration, and engineering management experience.
Alongside its work in applying IDAM to client operations, Radiant develops and presents training courses for functionaries (ranging from planners to middle management) on safety, asset-, and project management subjects. Coaching and mentorship programs are also conducted.
